INDIA
KVAR by Design is a Mumbai-based luxury interior design studio crafting bespoke spaces that merge sustainability with rigour—from private residences to complex commercial environments. Founded by a couple who built the studio around shared conviction, they came to us for a complete brand identity, packaging system, and spatial branding for their physical workshop—including signage and wayfinding that embedded the brand into the building itself.
CHALLENGE
The challenge was building a visual system flexible enough to hold across wildly different projects—minimalist private residences and opulent commercial interiors—without losing coherence. KVAR's work is deeply personal by design: every space is a reflection of a specific client's life. The brand needed to carry that bespoke quality into every touchpoint without appearing exclusive or inaccessible. Building with a founder couple also meant navigating the particular dynamic of shared decision-making—two deeply invested perspectives that needed a process, not just a brief, to find the visual language they both believed in.
CONCEPT
We positioned KVAR not as interior designers but as the studio that builds spaces around the person who will live in them. The logo uses modular geometry that reconfigures like a room layout—the same mark, endlessly recomposable. A material-inspired palette—earth, stone, aged wood—shifts in tone by context without breaking the system. Packaging becomes part of the product story: sustainable materials, narrative cards that explain the piece's origin and craft. The signage and wayfinding for the workshop embedded the brand into the building at every scale—from the entrance to the smallest internal detail. Every touchpoint reflects the same discipline as the spaces themselves.
