Salman Khan Films

INDIA

Bollywood's biggest house, finally online.

Salman Khan Films was founded in 2011 by one of Hindi cinema's most enduring stars. Fourteen-plus films across fourteen years, franchise blockbusters among the most-watched releases in Indian cinema, and fifty million followers across social. We redesigned and rebuilt salmankhanfilms.com to finally reflect the scale of what has been built.

CHALLENGE

How do you close the gap between cinema and screen?

The films had scale; the old website was merely functional. SKF's audience does not passively consume: they anticipate, they celebrate, they show up on opening day. The site had to hold that energy across every device and connection speed, from a 27-inch iMac to a budget Android in a Tier 3 city, and keep pace with an industry that announces, teases and releases fast, without ever feeling behind.

CONCEPT

Making a legacy feel like a premiere

The homepage opens before you do anything: a full-bleed reel of SKF's catalogue fills the screen the way a cinema lobby plays trailers as you walk in. Every film gets a dramatic poster card with an on-hover preview; directors get full editorial profiles, treated as collaborators rather than credits. The palette is restrained by design, no gold, no excess, a neutral cinematic canvas where every poster and every frame looks like it belongs in a theatre.
