INDIA
Anita Bakes is a Mumbai home bakery built during COVID—a small kitchen that grew a loyal following on the strength of genuinely good food and personal warmth. We built the brand identity and packaging system that gave Anita's work a unified, intentional presence: not to change what made it special, but to make sure everyone could see it clearly.

CHALLENGE
The challenge was creating an identity that made Anita Bakes more visible and more trusted without erasing the warmth and personal quality that built its following in the first place. During COVID, when people were turning to small, known, local makers for comfort, the brand needed to be coherent enough to travel across Mumbai and human enough that you still felt like you knew exactly who baked it.

CONCEPT
We built the identity around the beauty of the imperfect—uneven frosting swirls as signatures, not flaws. A palette drawn from baking itself: buttercream yellows, caramel browns, risen-dough creams. Non-traditional for a home bakery—bold enough to be noticed, warm enough to feel made by hand. Typography mixes hand-drawn character with clean legibility. Packaging uses kraft materials and handwritten labels that feel like something from a friend's kitchen, elevated just enough to carry the brand across the city with confidence. Every detail intentional. Nothing generic.
