INDIA
Casa Carigar bridges continents through furniture—blending Indian artisanal heritage with global design sensibilities. Each handcrafted piece carries its maker's mark and the weight of a tradition. We created the brand strategy, identity and website, positioning Casa Carigar not as a retailer, but as a curator of objects with genuine provenance and purpose. Luxury, in their world, isn't about excess—it's about meaning.

CHALLENGE
The challenge was creating an identity that communicates Indian craftsmanship and global sophistication without compromising either. We needed to appeal to internationally-minded buyers who value authenticity but won't sacrifice contemporary aesthetics—showing that handcrafted doesn't mean rustic. The website had to function as both an e-commerce platform and a digital gallery, selling furniture while building confidence in high-value purchases for buyers who cannot touch the piece before buying. Most critically, the brand needed to translate the weight of a material, the grain of a wood, the story behind a technique — into language that earns trust through a screen.

CONCEPT
We positioned Casa Carigar as curators of legacy—where furniture isn't bought but collected. Refined architectural typography and an earth-toned palette—teak, marble, brass, linen—ground the identity in natural material rather than decorative motif. Photography prioritises context over catalogue: pieces in lived spaces, light playing across surfaces, objects in relation to each other. Each product page becomes a short documentary—artisan background, regional technique, material journey. A Heritage Meets Design content series educates as it sells. The result is a brand that makes purchasing furniture feel like patronage—connecting buyers not just to objects, but to the people and traditions behind them.
