INDIA
Label Ritu Kumar is the contemporary arm of Ritu Kumar's fashion empire—built for young Indian women navigating global careers while staying rooted in culture. We developed the content strategy and social presence that made five decades of Indian textile heritage feel immediate, relevant, and entirely their own—not a brand to honour, but one to wear on a Tuesday.

CHALLENGE
The challenge was building a social presence that felt genuinely contemporary without erasing the craftsmanship story that gives Label its authority. Millennial and Gen Z audiences needed to see themselves in the content—not in a festive catalogue, but in the texture of an actual Tuesday. At the same time, we were competing with fast fashion's volume and velocity using something fast fashion can never replicate: fifty years of real textile knowledge. The work had to make that knowledge visible, wearable, and worth choosing—for the modern Indian woman who sees no conflict between ambition and heritage.

CONCEPT
We moved entirely away from catalogue imagery and toward content built around motion and real moments—handwoven cotton over morning coffee, block-printed silk on a conference call, a reimagined sari at a dinner that runs late. The social strategy treats each garment as wearable art with a story attached: the artisan who made it, the textile tradition it carries, the life it was designed for. Editorial sophistication and behind-the-scenes authenticity in the same frame. The result is content that makes a young woman proud to wear her heritage—not because they were told to, but because they actually wanted to.
